Karl Dunn, M.D.

Dr. Karl Dunn was born and raised in Macomb, Michigan. After completing his undergraduate studies in Microbiology at Michigan State University, he attended Kent State University (formerly the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine) where he earned his medical degree. Dr. Dunn then completed a comprehensive three-year Podiatric Surgery residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. Following residency, Dr. Dunn advanced his surgical and clinical training by completing an additional year of fellowship at the Pennsylvania Intensive Lower Extremity Fellowship, where he trained on the latest techniques in total ankle joint replacement, sports medicine, adult and pediatric reconstruction, and lower extremity trauma. He also has a special interest in wound care and advanced limb salvage techniques. Dr. Dunn has enjoyed staying involved in the latest medical research, where he has co-authored numerous medical journal articles and presented his work at local, state, and national scientific conferences.

Dr. Dunn is extremely happy to return back to his home state, along with his beautiful wife and two children.
